For those who don't know who Bobby was or only knew of him, here's a little bit of the amazing life that was Bobby Doyle.....
Bobby was born Robert Michael Aguiar-Doyle, in Lowell, Massachusetts on August 29, 1994, and was tragically taken from us on July 13, 2015, at the young age of 20, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Bobby was a brother to so many, both by blood and in his heart. He was also a son to many, a nephew to many, a cousin to many, a grandson but most important, he was a best friend to all.
In his younger years, Bobby participated in modeling pageants and acted in several student films, including "Thunder Road" of which was narrated my Saturday Night Live's Seth Myers. His love for the arts quickly swayed in Jr. High School when he was introduced to the guitar by an amazing teacher (Mr. Plassman) who saw that little light in Bobby's eye for music and in his own time, taught him how to play the guitar. Once out of Jr. High, Bobby continued to teach himself through tutorials and from that point until the day he passed Bobby played almost daily.
Bobby excelled at just about anything he put his mind too. At a very early age he was creating a strong work ethic & began earning his own money through, of all things, playing video games. Freshman & Sophomore years of high school he earned money working at a breakfast diner with his mum, every morning before school and every Saturday. Upon leaving the diner he worked a seasonal position as a driver's helper for UPS and then moved on to the position he was most proud of, a motorcycle detailer for Motorcycles of Manchester. While working there he managed to purchase both his very 1st car and then his very 1st motorcycle. He was so proud of himself and would drive or ride around everywhere to show everyone what he had achieved.
He was sarcastic, witty, and extremely comical but above all, he was ALWAYS there whenever anyone needed him and would never miss an opportunity to give you a hug. At 6' 3", he was the most loving, gentle giant you could ever know.
In such a short life, Bobby took the opportunity to live life to the fullest all the while epitomizing the definition of a great friend and a model citizen. He had such a passion for family and accomplished so much.... he was an avid rider, a traveler, a musician, a hockey player, and very much a sports enthusiast. No one could ever speak ill will of the Boston Bruins without a lengthy debate which most likely ended up in a loss against him.
Bobby achieved many accolades and spent a summer studying in Australia representing our country as a United States Student Ambassador. He was honored by V-tek & Toys "R" Us with the 2nd Place nationwide Award for Excellence, he is in the Smithsonian Museum as the “Who's Who of Grammar Schools” and was honored several times by the Boston Archdiocese with the Christian Witness Award for outstanding show of concern for others and for his fund-raising efforts both locally and abroad focusing primarily on local youth causes & orphaned youth causes in the Middle East. However, he never cared for the awards and accolades as he always thought that those things are just things that should be done but above everything.... he was my son, my greatest accomplishment and my heart & soul!
